Our fees

We are very competitive with regard to fees. The Notaries Society has given guidance on fees in order to ensure that notarial work is carried out to a proper standard. Our charges are in accordance with the guidance given by The Notaries Society.

The minimum fee is £60+VAT. With regards to more complex transactions, we charge an hourly rate of £300+VAT per hour.

Often notarial documents need to be legalised usually by being sent to The Foreign & Commonwealth Office but sometimes also to various embassies in London as well. We can arrange this for a client as we have a courier who undertakes this work.

The Foreign & Commonwealth Office and various embassies charge a small fee for legalising a document. Such institutions will often only accept notaries' cheques and not cheques issued by individuals. We will issue a notary cheque to cover this fee on behalf of clients.

With regards to courier charges, we merely pass on to the client what is being charged by our courier.

We will always quote a fee for a matter prior to commencing work. For unusual assignments, a special fee will be agreed before work starts.
